Excerpts from
ORTHOPATHY by Herbert M. Shelton
Complete analysis of each disease

INTRODUCTION

"Orthopathy" by Dr. Herbert M. Shelton contains a comprehensive analysis of most known diseases, and a general classification and guide to their treatment, based upon a natural wholistic interpretation and approach.
Dr. Shelton represents one of the world's greatest authorities in "Natural Hygiene", a philosophy and method of living according to the laws of life and Nature's plan for men's highest health and happiness, compiled from 175 years of experience of some of the most brilliant medical doctors and teachers. He was also the foremost authority on the use of fasting in the treatment of diseases, in which he supervised approximately 50,000 cases.
This natural approach, interpretation and nutritional treatment of disease, is presented here on the internet, I believe, for the first time to the general public as well as professionals, for those who are interested in an alternative, drugless, self-help method of understanding and treatment of most of men's illnesses.

Stanley S. Bass, The Life Science, 2005
  N.D. D.C. Ph.C., Ph.D., D.O., D.Sc., D.D.

Note: Already 1941, over 60 years ago, Natural Hygiene doctors experienced healing most diseases successfully with drug-free methods, and the superiority of these over drug-methods, as evident from Dr. Shelton's "Orthopathy". Today, following in Dr. Shelton's footsteps, Dr. Bass is reporting even more success, with faster and more complete healings. Natural Hygiene Network 2006

"EVERY disease is a protest of Nature against an active or passive violation of her laws. But that protest follows rarely upon a first transgression, never upon trifles; and life-long sufferings — the effects of an incurable injury excepted — generally imply that the sufferer's mode of life is habitually unnatural in more than one respect. * * * By observing the health laws of Nature, a sound constitution can be very easily preserved, but, if a violation of those laws has brought on a disease, all we can do by way of "curing" that disease is to remove the cause."
Felix L. Oswald
